The seed of DAISYLIFE was sown back in the early 1980s, with an intention of bringing bamboo handicrafts made in the beautiful Eastern states of India to the rest of the country. The first markets were setup in the gorgeous landscapes of Mahabaleshwar, gradually reaching to the various regions all over India.

A brand new version of DAISYLIFE as a retail brand bloomed in 2018. The sole purpose of the brand being – NATURAL, MODERN and SIMPLE city living. The products are selectively made from plant-based materials like bamboo, cane, coconut-shells, jute, wood, wicker. We believe that it is all about naturally connecting oneself to nature as a part of our daily lifestyle. To get that sense of well-being every single day.

THE WARMTH OF NATURE
Wicker baskets are one of our signature products, which is completely made out of natural raw material coming from dry long branches of the splendid Willow tree. These trees grow in abundance in the heavenly valleys of Kashmir. The baskets are made there with superfine skills passed from generation to generation of highly skilled Kashmiri craftsmen.
Wicker Baskets, we believe, are an epitome of simplicity, aesthetics, versatility, strength and warmth, just like nature itself! They can be used everywhere right from a small flower basket in the garden to a huge laundry basket in the bedroom.
They can carry something as light as soft toys, to something as heavy as cutlery or plant pots. They have their own beautiful golden brown color to them, giving the space a warm, rustic yet stylish, modern and a natural vibe altogether.

The nature of the Willow is such, that it gets stronger and stronger when treated with water and sun. Hence to clean the basket, one can soak it in water for a while and then completely sun dry to make it look brand new again!
These baskets are water and heat resistant. They can be used in washrooms or kitchens undoubtedly. Place them in open and dry surfaces preferably for most of the time. Although they can then be cleaned thoroughly with water and sun dried completely to re-use all over again.
If the basket just needs slight dust removing, simply clean it by rubbing a brush to remove dirt from the gaps. They are strong, sturdy, and durable even after repeated usage and cleaning!
